On June 28, 2010, twenty-nine high students embarked on a week long journey to learn about every important topic of Renewable Energy. The program outlines the full range of alternative energies; solar, wind, hydrogen, LED technology, and others, and discusses the challenges of transforming from the traditional energy resources to new technologies – tech transfer.

Our Cleanroom Protocol and Safety “Train the Trainer” program, held on June 22, 2010, was featured that day in the Times Union newspaper as an excellent opportunity for K-12 and Community College Educators and Department of Labor Business Service Representatives and One Stop Personnel employees to learn about the intricacies and economical impact of Cleanroom Construction.
Robert Potts, ESH Director of M+W Group U.S. Inc. presented a 6 hour program that introduce 4 – one hour classroom modules that can be shared with each participant’s constituency. This program was also shared with the trades apprentice instructors – plumbers and steamfitters, electricians, etc. on June 2, 2010. The program took place at the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 7 Training Center on Avis Drive in Latham, NY. The highlight of the program was the tour of the Local 7 Cleanroom used for training and the participants ‘gowning’ in the cleanroom garb otherwise known as ‘bunny suits’ as seen in the picture.
